Bridgewater Likely to Miss Next Season, Too
The average recovery time for an injury like Bridgewater's, could take up to 19 months to recover from. Back in August 2016, Teddy Bridgewater suffered a complete ACL tear, being taken off the practice field in an ambulance. Luckily, there was no nerve or artery damage but still, the injury was enough to sideline him for the entire 2016 /17 season. That injury, led to the Vikings signing Sam Bradford from the Eagles, in exchange for a first and fourth round draft pick.
The speculation at the time of his injury, eluded to the fact that it may take longer than just one season to recover but nothing was really set in stone. New reports are saying that the recovery time is so long, it's likely Bridgewater will miss the entire 2017 season, too.
