The Boys and Girls Club of Rochester is helping out community kids who are in need. The other day, Wednesday afternoon to be exact, they delivered tons of care packages to those kids in need in the Rochester area.

The Boys and Girls club posted about these care packages on their Facebook page saying that they delivered over 200 care packages in total! They seemed pretty excited to be able to deliver these packages because they hadn't seen the kids they were making these deliveries to since they closed their doors due to the pandemic. Their doors closed for the time being on March 17th.

While the Boys and Girls Club of Rochester is closed, they are still hosting activities online with their Virtual Club. There are all sorts of activities that are hosted each weekday. You can check out the schedule of activities on their website, HERE.

What are other ways individuals, organizations, families, etc. in Southern Minnesota helping out those in need during this difficult time? If you have a story let me know! You can shoot me an email at carly.ross@townsquaremedia.com or message me on my Facebook page, which you can find HERE. Whether we see it or not, there are lots of good things going on in the community during these difficult and weird times.
