Landen, the 5 year old boy who was thrown from the 3rd floor balcony at the Mall of America is showing positive signs of recovery. The family wanted to share the news on Good Friday and thank everyone for their prayers and support.

Landed has a long road ahead of him, but according to FOX 9, doctors have performed tests that have turned out positive. He remains in intensive care. On this Easter weekend the family also shared this message:

"Our miracle child is showing real signs of recovery. New test results have been positive, though he remains in intensive care with a long road ahead. Our faith in God, and our Savior Jesus, is strong, and we are gaining more reason for optimism day by day. We continue our appeal for privacy as we focus on our son, and thank you for respecting our wishes. Just know that we absolutely feel your overwhelming love, prayers and support, for they seem to be working. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts."

The man who threw the 5 year old, Emmanuel Aranda, is facing attempted murder charges.

A GoFundMe account was set up to help the family and at the writing of this it's at 894,303 of it's 1,000,000 goal.
