UPDATE June 20, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. EST: Read our exclusive interview with frontman Andy Black as he addresses the band's situation.

ORIGINAL POST: In a new live episode of Another FN Podcast, Black Veil Brides bassist Ashley Purdy reveals that Black Veil Brides apparently plan to disband following their eight-date run on Warped Tour this month.

“We start Thursday at Warped Tour in Pomona, [California] and we are going to do eight dates through the southern California area," he said. "And that is where you are going to see Black Veil Brides for the last time ever in your entire lives. So, you better fucking go, because that's gonna be it." He later added, "You better see us before you don’t see us.”

The episode features Purdy and We Are Harlot's Jeff George. When asked by a fan whether or not Purdy had any plans for solo material, he responded, "To be honest you guys already know that Andy Black is doing his fucking next thing so the rest of us are going to do something separate and easy. Nothing more, nothing less."

Additionally, Purdy addressed working with producers Bob Rock and John Feldmann, saying that Black Veil Brides modernized Rock's approach to producing. Later, regarding Feldmann, Purdy added, "Never work with a producer who is a writer. Let them be the fuckin' producer." He continued, "There are so many times we have been overwritten."

You can listen to the podcast in full below. The official description reads, "Ashley from Black Veil Brides & Jeff George from We Are Harlot/Sebastian Bach and more swing by for an impromptu drunken summit." We will be following this story up with further details on the future of Black Veil Brides as we receive more information.
