Rochester WinterFest XIV is almost here!  This annual event typically takes place during the first two weeks in February. This year's event runs January 28th through February 14th and features a wide variety of activities happening throughout the Rochester area! There's something for everyone, young or old, indoors and out.

WinterFest is designed to promote wintertime activities while raising awareness and funds for events sponsored by nonprofit organizations in Olmsted County. Last year's WinterFest was a huge success. Close to 7,000 attendees broke their cabin fever by attending 24 events. In total, over $350,000 was raised by the hard work of nearly 530 volunteers from participating nonprofits putting in over 2,000 hours of time.

Returning favorites include the Polar Bear Plunge, Youth Ice Fishing Contest, Frozen Goose Run/Walk, Blizzard Bash, BaconFest and Hearts & Diamonds Spectacular.

New events include the Stevie Ray Comedy Show, a concert by the OkeeDokee Brothers band and a Winter Pioneer Life of Olmsted County demonstration.

A complete list of all events is available at www.rochesterwinterfest.com.
