Don't sound the trumpet just yet. Contrary to a train of thought that's been spread by certain pundits, ROCK IS NOT DEAD! And further proof of that comes from Beartooth who address that topic in their new video for "Rock Is Dead."

The track itself is an adrenaline-infused, fist-pumping, pedal-to-the-metal rocker that's designed to get audiences amped. With the central thought, "If rock and roll's dead, you can kill me right now," Caleb Shomo and his Beartooth crew squash all notion of the "rock is dead" argument.

And to help drive home the point, we've got what amounts to part-music video, part-Warped Tour mini-doc soundtracked by the song and generated by Reel Bear Media. In the clip, the band takes us into their summer on Vans Warped, as lines of people await their day of music. The group also showcase some of their behind-the-scenes action, take viewers to a signing session and share a few key details like the backstory of how Kamron "Kami Miami" Bradbury got his nickname, Shomo's shirt superstition and more.

The singer also speaks about the importance of playing the Vans Warped Tour, a trek that comes with basically zero added production, allowing bands to just play in their purest form. "I want to make sure that Beartooth is always able to do that," says Shomo. "We can always just go somewhere, go into a dude's living room and just plug in our amps and play."

Speaking of touring, the band catches a little breather post-Warped before resuming their road warrior status on Sept. 22 at the High Elevation Festival in Denver. At present, they're mostly booked for festival appearances in September and October. See the stops below.
