Why Is ANOTHER Quality Rochester Restaurant Closing?

The restaurant at the Eastwood Golf Course in Rochester, Minnesota is calling it quits.

Owner David Nogosek made the announcement on his Facebook page, saying Eastwood Bar & Grill would be closing for good in November.

With heavy heart I am here to announce that the Eastwood Grill will be closing for good on November 1st of this year. I thank everyone that has supported us here and we appreciate everyone. The upside we will still have the food trailer so look for some updates and when and where. Have a great day

I reached out to Dave to get the story and unfortunately, it's like so many we've already heard. The rising cost of goods, labor, and not enough customers the whole week. Can't run a successful restaurant on three good days.

Tuesday / Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Thursday: 8:00 AM - 9:00 PM
Friday / Saturday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Eastwood Golf Club offers 18 holes of golf that wind through pine, maple and oak trees, with challenging elevation changes that add to the natural beauty of the course. Marshes and ponds are located in key areas of the course. This setting in Southeast Rochester is a habitat for all kinds of woodland creatures, like deer, turkeys, hawks and many smaller animals and birds.
All the amenities are available at Eastwood: fully equipped Pro Shop, driving range, golf cart rentals, club rentals, Eastwood Bar and Grill, and golf lessons. Eastwood offers four sets of tees on all 18 holes, so the course is playable for golfers of all abilities.
