Byron, MN (KROC AM News) - Here we go again. Olmsted County deputies were called to Byron over the weekend after yet another vehicle was reported stolen

And like a recent theft, it was also involved in a police pursuit.

 A man called 911 early Sunday to report he had just chased two young males he had spotted on his property. He saw them get into a pickup truck and it was learned the vehicle had been reported stolen the day before from a house in the 900 block of Rolling Heights Ct NE.

A few hours later, the same vehicle was involved in a high-speed pursuit in the Zumbrota area. The chase ended when the truck crashed.

Four juveniles were taken into custody.  One is a 15-year-old who was involved in earlier car thefts. He was wearing a court-ordered electronic ankle bracelet monitor but it apparently was no longer working.

Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office Capt. Scott Behrns has issued another advisory about leaving keys in vehicles. The owner of the truck that was stolen Saturday had parked it in the driveway with the keys inside.

There have been numerous vehicles stolen in Byron this summer,
