An Easy Way To Bring Holiday Cheer To The Ronald McDonald House
Feeling artistic? Want to unleash your inner Bob Ross? I just found out about a really cool event happening this week that I wanted to share with you. It involves you getting to paint something for an extremely worthwhile cause, and even if you’ve never painted anything in your life, it’s still very much worth your time.
That’s because Art On The Go Rochester is hosting the Art of Giving Fundraiser, where you can donate your own painting to children staying at the Ronald McDonald House and Hope Lodge while undergoing cancer treatment at Mayo Clinic. How cool is that?
Even if you feel like you don’t have a fiber of artistic talent in your body, I still think that it’s a very meaningful gesture if you choose to participate. Eventually, these kids are going to be seeing all these donated paintings, knowing that they were created just for them. And if that provides them even a moment of comfort, that’s totally worth it, right?
The Art of Giving Fundraiser costs $35 per person, and includes art supplies and instructions. It’ll be held at the Rochester Area Foundation from 6PM to 8:30PM this Thursday, December 14th.
