I'm obsessed with Amazon Prime, as I'm sure many of you are. However, judging by some of these online reports about Walmart's new program, Prime is about to get some serious competition. Walmart+ is expected to launch sometime this summer. They haven't released a ton of details, but according to online rumors, it will be "a more affordable, equally robust alternative to Prime." Let's compare.

According to Business Insider, Walmart+ will reportedly cost $98 a year compared to  Amazon Prime's $119 annual subscription fee. Ok, I'm intrigued, but probably wouldn't jump ship for $21... But wait, there's more.

Walmart+ will supposedly have faster delivery: free one-day delivery. Amazon Prime offers this in some areas, but according to Business Insider, Walmart+ wants to make it a standard everywhere. Hmmm, I like the sound of this. What else?

It's assumed that Walmart's same-day delivery on groceries from their current program will rollover. Also, Walmart may offer its subscribers first dibs on limited-time offers and access to better prices, discounts at Walmart gas stations, AND there are also rumors that Walmart+ may offer access to a streaming service to compete with Amazon's Prime Video service. Interesting!!

I'm looking forward to seeing how this all plays out. What do you think? Would these perks make you kick Prime to the curb for Walmart+?
