There's a few things I love about this time of year.

1. Football
2. Cooler weather (us fatties hate the heat)
3. And a GOOD creepy, scary movie

I've seen SO many "scary" movies in my day but only a handful hit the mark on "scary" and/or "creepy."

Halloween (The original from 1978)

I was always creeped out by the mask and of course, that music.

The Blair Witch Project

I think what I liked about this movie was that there was NO music and I was creeped out by what you COULDN'T see. You never really see what was killing them. They did it pretty well in that they led the American public to believe that it was true "found footage" even taking the car from the movie on tour to college campuses and telling the story and showing the movie as if it WERE real. Well done.

The Exorcist

The Exorcist is a true classic. I think when she does the crab walk down the stairs (a scene that was cut from the original movie) that is probably one of the weirdest, creepiest things I've seen in a movie. The first time I saw it, it scared the hell out of me.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre

I'm a little more partial to the 2003 Chainsaw Massacre only because it's got a little bit more gore and "creep factor" to it. That and Jessica Biel is in it.

And last but not least: Friday The 13th (The original)

You know when you heard the "Ch Ch Ch Ha Ha Ha," that sh*t was about to get REAL!
Forget about the other 10 or so sequels that came after that. They all pretty much sucked.

I know I missed a few on this. These are just the ones that stand out to me.
