A Rochester Soldier Comes Home to Surprise His Parents

It's ALWAYS great when a soldier comes home from overseas. It's even better when they surprise a loved one.That's exactly what happened at Thursday's on First last week. Alan Reed, the morning host on our sister station, Quick Country 96.5, brought Bruce and Bonnie Gibson up on the stage under the pretense that they were picking up a prize they won.

They had no idea that their son Eric had returned from Afghanistan. Once they find out, it gets a little dusty in here. Check out the video and welcome home, Eric.
