Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Another motorist has been caught driving more than 100 mph in Rochester.

A state trooper clocked a car at 104 mph on Highway 52 near the 6th St. bridge around 5:00 AM Jan. 10th. The speed limit in that area is 60 mph. When pulled over, 21-year-old Jesus Rodriguez Floriano of Kasson admitted he was “going pretty fast.” Floriano also told the trooper “he was trying to get away from another vehicle that had been harassing him for four miles."

Floriano pleaded guilty earlier this month and was told to pay fines and fees totaling $400. He was also placed on probation for one year.

Court records show Floriano was caught driving 100 mph in a 70 zone in Faribault County in 2017.

Three motorists were caught driving over 100 mph in the city last year, including one who was clocked at 130 mph.
