6 Southeast Minnesota Walmart’s Now Offering COVID-19 Vaccine
As we get more and more Coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine doses in the US, more people are wondering when and where they can get the vaccine. Across the country, select Walmart, Sam's Club, and CVS locations are now offering the COVID-19 vaccine as of this past Friday the 12th. Good news for us in southeast Minnesota, there are 6 Walmart locations in our area that are offering the COVID vaccine to those that are eligible.
KARE 11 shared a mass list of states that have Walmart, Sam's Club, and CVS locations where you can get a COVID vaccine. There are no CVS locations in Minnesota that are offering the COVID vaccine as of today (February 15th, 2021). There are only 11 states across the country that have CVS locations with available vaccines. There are a few Sam's Club locations across Minnesota where you can make an appointment for a COVID vaccine. Those are in Hermantown, Shakopee, White Bear Lake, and Woodbury.
Walmart, however, has quite a few locations, 36 to be exact, in Minnesota where you can make an appointment for a COVID vaccine. 6 of those locations are in southeast Minnesota. If you would like to set up an appointment, you can do so HERE. Those 6 Walmart locations are:

As of today, February 15th, 2021, Minnesota COVID-19 Response says the people who are currently eligible for the COVID vaccine are:
- Minnesotan age 65 or older
- Health care worker
- Long-term care resident or staff member
- Pre-kindergarten through Adult Basic and Community Education school staff member, or contracted school staff member
- Child care staff member at a licensed and certified child care center or program
