It kind of sucks when your favorite team is on a bye. Sure there's still football but it's just not as good as watching YOUR team. Here's a list of 5 things you could do since you can't watch your team.

  • Go To Wildwood Sports Bar & Grill for a Burger and a Beer

Not only is it a great place to watch the game but they have great food. So, your team isn't playing, you can still catch at least one or two other games in a great atmosphere and have a cold beer and a good burger. OR, get the wings. Stellar.

  • Clean The Garage Out

The best thing about your team having a buy in the early part of the season is that it's still nice enough outside to fling open the garage door and get it cleaned out. Sure, it sucks cleaning out the garage but you'll thank me in the winter time when you don't have to keep parking in the driveway.

  • Do Some Yard Work

This is actually one I'm going to do this weekend, since the Packers aren't playing. We've got a fairly big lawn and some trees that branches that need to be cut. A lot of yard work to do this weekend. UGH! Stupid bye week!

  • There's Still Football On

Get together with some friends and watch other games. But, you better get your beer on Saturday...you know...the whole "no liquor sales on Sunday" thing in Minnesota. Sure you could have a small get together without beer but what kind of host are you? You monster!

  • Hang Some New Sports Memorabilia in your Man Cave

It's always good to add a little more stuff to your man cave. Wait...do people still call it a "man cave?" Maybe for your office.

A good place to find some of this stuff is at a consignment shop or garage sale.

Bonus idea: Go to a consignment shop or garage sale.
