The newest rankings for the best colleges and universities across the country for the 2022-2023 school year have just been released. If you have a child who is considering college but they don't know where to go, this would be a good place to start. There are 13 Minnesota colleges and universities that were named among the best in the entire country.

These rankings were done by US News and World Report. They do a ranking of US colleges and universities every year. Some of them I'm sure will be familiar to you but others may not have been on your radar before.

We'll start with the rankings for the best universities. This is from a list of colleges and universities from across the country and these 6 Minnesota universities made the cut!

St. Mary's University of Minnesota - Winona (#299 nationally)

St. Catherine University - St. Paul (#234 nationally - tied)

The College of St. Scholastica - Duluth (#234 nationally - tied)

Bethel University - St. Paul (#212 nationally)

University of St. Thomas - St. Paul (#137 nationally)

University of Minnesota, Twin Cities - Minneapolis (#62 nationally)

Yep the big U of MN is considered the best university in Minnesota and the 62nd best in the entire country. Being in the top 100 is pretty sweet!

They also ranked the best liberal arts colleges across the country and 8 Minnesota colleges made that list.
