Hey there! How's your day going? Let's do a quick survey:

Who here has eaten fast food today?

I know I'm guilty; I had a cheeseburger for lunch, and I regret nothing. But apparently I'm not alone, because the National Center for Health Statistics just came out with some new data that finds about 1 out of 3 American adults will eat fast food at least once a day.

Digging deeper, it looks like the older you get, the less fast food you'll eat. But more men (48.3%) than women (39.1%) say they'll eat fast food for lunch, although more women (25.7%) than men (19.5%) say they have it as a "snack," which is TOTALLY cheating. Come on, now.

Finally, 91% of parents admit to buying fast food for their children in the past week, which is a pretty big increase from 79% in 2010.

My takeaway? I think so many people are eating fast food because there aren't enough hours in a day. If only we all had enough money to hire personal chefs for ourselves. Adulting is a full-time job, man!
