Tantric’s Rochester Show

We had a great time last night at the Tantric show at Wicked Moose with Premier Artist Productions. A big thanks to the staff at the Moose and of course, to everyone that came out.

If you haven't seen them or ANY of the bands that were there, Strange Daze, VIA and King Shifter, when you DO see them, you're in for a treat. Although it was a smaller crowd, all 4 of the bands put on a hell of a show. You would think they were playing in front of 100,000 people with the energy they were putting into their stage shows.

I hadn't seen Tantric before. My wife did, quite a few years back when they opened for Creed and she said they were awesome. Last night, they sounded amazing. Hugo's vocals, the guitar(s) everything was spot on. One of my pet peeves is going to a show and they change their hit(s) so drastically that you barely recognize the song. Not the case with Tantric. They played some of the new tunes from their latest album "37 Channels" and of course, some of the "classic" Tantric songs like "Breakdown" and "Mourning."

As for the opening bands, Strange Daze, VIA and King Shifter, they played their originals and sounded GREAT doing so. We hope to have all of these bands back at some point. Kudos to ALL of the bands for making it another GREAT Z-Rock show and again, THANK YOU to those that came out to support LIVE music.
