The Rochester Police Department has received some new information and forensic evidence involving a shooting last year and hopes it leads to an arrest.  A 22 year old man was shot in the leg during the early morning hours of  March 23rd last year outside a residence in the 500 block of Northern Hills Drive N.E.  Investigators later determined the victim had been involved in a fight with another man at the Whiskey Bones Roadhouse bar a few hours earlier.  The victim told police he could not identify the shooter so it’s not known if he was the same one he had fought with earlier.  A person of significant interest was identified by police but no arrests were ever made.  Investigators are hoping the information will lead to an arrest

Anyone with any information about the case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS, the Rochester Police Department at 507-328-6800, or go online to Crime Stoppers.
