Apparently, Joe Buck is the Nickelback of Sportscasters

Why does everybody hate on Joe Buck? This is certainly not a knock on Joe Buck or Nickelback. Both have been very successful in their fields and I really don't mind either one of them. But I see a lot of hate every Sunday during the game and even during the World Series.

What I don't get is: why all the hate? The guy knows sports, stats and everything else he needs to know to be successful. He had a great teacher in his dad, Jack Buck, who called the St. Louis Cardinals games and happens to be in the MLB and NFL Halls of Fame. He even called the "Ice Bowl" game.

So, Joe Buck comes from good stock. It's in his DNA to be a sportscaster. You can't deny it. When it comes to sports, Joe Buck knows what he is talking about.

Just like Joe Buck, Nickelback has been extremely successful, too. Hell, they've sold more than 50 million albums. Obviously, they're doing something right. They're not my cup of tea, but they're not terrible either.

Is it the fact that he's got a bunch of money, gets to go to huge sporting events for free and has a hot wife?

I don't know. But whatever it is, just leave the guy alone and let him continue to do his job...
