Switchfoot Singer Suffered Surfing Snafu

Say that 10 times fast! This was much more than a tongue twister it looks like.  Switchfoot's singer Jon Foreman had to get 30 stitches after a surfing injury on Monday. Most of the stitches are inside his upper lip. They had to reschedule their album release. OUCH! The band played in St. Paul in September of last year. 

This guy has a surfing hobby passion.  He even makes surfboards!  Click here to view the 'Hurley' facebook posted video of him making boards.   Sadly, his board was not his friend the other day when it bit his face!

I have always wanted to go surfing.  I wouldn't want this to happen however!
