Who said records are dead?   Not me, surely.   I know, I know, they are ancient.  I however love them, I actually own a huge pile OF them, including a couple of precious NIN ones, & a nice pile of my favorite 45's. Just this past weekend there was even a record collector event in Rochester.  Yes, they take up a bit more space than a smartphone or an mp3 player, but they are classic.  They sound different.   They  are something some people just love and miss. I cannot say the same thing about cassettes.  I sold my cassette collection for $ 50 at a garage sale one year, and I had a pretty fantastic collection.  Yep.  The whole thing.  I still am sad, but ... who cared about cassettes?  They rocked in the 80's.  Records still can rock. Every once in a while a NEW record collection comes up and collectors try like mad to get their hands on it.

Kiss has a new one...  they only plan on making 1,000 of them and there are 34 LP's involved in this one, although, its not their first record collection, or collection of just about anything as we all know.  If you are one of the Kiss collectors, bad news, I doubt you will EVER EVER be able to snatch up everything that they are featured on. And when you spend this kind of money on a record collection, would you even want to run the risk of plopping a needle on them?  Just in case you want to be one of the 1000 folks who own this limited edition collection I do have the link to the collection: The 'Ultimate Road Case' is available for presale for only $ 1749.99, click here...
