Guilty Plea in Robbery of Rochester Convenience Store
A man charged with robbing a Rochester convenience store in early October pleaded guilty Thursday to a simple robbery charge.

Sentencing for 41 year old Todd Mielke has been scheduled February 5th.
Police say he robbed the Holiday store near St. Mary’s and drove off in a van that was spotted two days later at the south Walmart store by an employee of the business it had been stolen from. Investigators learned Mielke was of those who had been using the van. He was later found at what police say was a homeless camp located near the Hy Vee south store.
