Flea Lets Koko The Gorilla Shred On Bass

It's no secret that Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers is an animal lover. He took time out of his busy schedule promoting their new album, to visit Koko the gorilla at the Gorilla Foundation in Woodside, California.

He brought his bass along, and suprisingly enough - Koko shred that bass!

She nailed it .... sort of... okay, she probably won't be busting out "Give It Away" or "Californication" but she was certainly interested in learning! Something tells me that Flea will be back to give her some more lessons. He was having fun, and said, "This is just the greatest thing that could ever happen!"
