Rochester Community Initiative’s 4th Annual 5k Fun Run for Project Legacy

The Rochester Community Initiative (RCI) is thrilled to be hosting their 4th Annual 5k Fun Run on Sunday, May 5th at Cascade Lake Park! RCI is a youth-led non-profit focused on improving our community through amplifying youth voice, intersectional advocacy, community education, and serving underprivileged demographics. Their work is grounded around making Rochester a more just and equitable place for all of its residents through engaging events and programs, fundraisers, and other charitable activities.

All proceeds will be donated to Project Legacy, a Rochester-based non-profit that provides support and training to youth and young adults impacted by poverty, incarceration, gangs, addiction, and violence in our community through tuition assistance, mental health support, and an alternative, positive peer group.
