Cop Runs Over Gunman with His Cruiser [VIDEO]

Some people are calling this "police brutality" but if this were happening in my neighborhood, I would have shaken the officers hand. I could have also used the headline: "Hero Cop Saves Neighborhood from Gun Wielding Mad Man/Idiot."

Mario Valencia reportedly stole a gun from a WalMart in Arizona and was walking in a residential neighborhood, firing off rounds and threatening to kill himself.

Imagine what could have happened had the police not gotten there in time or an innocent bystander had walked in his path or a stray bullet struck a child. Valencia is also accused of an armed robbery, church fire, home invasion and auto theft.

To me, this officer did what he had to do to neutralize the threat. Mario Valencia was treated for injuries and was immediately arrested.
