If a haunted house makes you sign a waiver and gives you a safe word to use if you can't make it, you know it's gonna be good.  Below is a video from "The 17th Door" haunted house in California.

For me, the BEST haunted houses are the ones that are more creepy and less, in your face...oh and they make you sign a waiver.

At The 17th Door, you go through a series of rooms, 17 in all, spending about a minute in each. This haunted house also gives you a safe word (mercy) in case you can't make it to the end. After being open just a couple weekends, there have been roughly 800 visitors each night. The owner says that about 350 people have used the safe word in order to get out early.

I wish there was something like this in Minnesota. Very cool. Anyone up for a road trip?
