See that map?  If you start at the Rochester Public Library and went all the way to Moka, that cute little coffee place on 12th Street SE, that is just over a mile.  1.1 miles to be exact.

9,000 boxes of Mac & Cheese.  We have over 100,000 people living in this great city and if we all just bought one box, we would knock this mile goal out of the water!

Still on the fence about this mile of Mac & Cheese goal during WinterFest?  All the boxes will be donated to Channel One Regional Food Bank.  What this means is that your donation is going to help someone have a meal!

MILE OF MAC & CHEESE during WinterFest XVI

  • Channel One Regional Food Bank is partnering with Hy-Vee to coordinate a Macaroni and Cheese food drive to help feed our neighbors in need. Boxes of Macaroni and Cheese will be collected in bins at all four Rochester Hy-Vee stores, with a goal of 9,000 boxes of macaroni and cheese. Channel One volunteers will be on hand throughout the day to assist in the food drive.
