Yep! You read that headline correctly. I'm super impressed with Bring Me The Horizon! Not only are they disclosing a very metal undertaking, they're doing it for a good cause.

Loudwire reports, "Bring Me the Horizon singer Oli Sykes and keyboardist Jordan Fish are ready to tackle a climb of Mount Kilimanjaro in order to raise funds for a pediatric care unit. The musicians have decided to take on the challenge to help out the Friends of PICU organization after Fish’s four-year-old son Eliot was recently treated at the Southampton Pediatric Intensive Care Unit for a brain hemorrhage. It is their goal to raise £100,000 (approximately $130,000) for the charity."

This is obviously a cause that's extremely personal for them. Thankfully, Fish's son is still recovering. He tells Loudwire, "“In terms of Eliot’s recovery we still have a very long way to go and we are taking each day at a time, however he is still alive to fight, he is breathing on his own and we are seeing small improvements every day. He is a little fighter and has shown amazing signs of recovery already, even at this early stage. We owe that completely to the Nurses, Doctors, Neurologists and staff at PICU.”

They'll climb in January, over the corse of eight days. Best of luck to both of them! If you'd like to donate to their cause - click here.
