Young Southeast Minnesota Child Drowns In Bucket Of Water

Harmony, MN (KROC AM News) - A young child drowned in rural Fillmore County Friday after apparently falling into a bucket filled with water.
Fillmore County Sheriff John DeGeorge says deputies and an ambulance crew from Harmony were sent to the residence in the 11000 block of Journey Road around 5:30 pm in response to a 911 call.
DeGeorge says, "The caller reported that a 1-year-old child had drowned after falling into a bucket of water." DeGeorge says lifesaving efforts were made but were unsuccessful.
He says the death has been ruled accidental by drowning.
The residence where it happened is located southwest of Harmony near Niagara Cave.
