Track comes just before the former Heartbreakers guitarist launches a North American tour.

“Tom made his own decisions about what he wanted," explains the Heartbreakers guitarist.

"It's the story of a poor kid from Jacksonville, Florida, who realized a dream through music," guitarist says.

"There will always be a little bit of that Southern thing in there," the guitarist tells UCR.

Former Heartbreakers guitarist will release a brand new Dirty Knobs album, 'Vagabonds, Virgins & Misfits,' on June 14.

The pair hadn’t toured together for 30 years until Dirty Knobs guest stint began in late April.
