Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man has been sent to prison for sexually assaulting an intoxicated woman.

Sentenced to 62 months on Tuesday was 55-year-old Monte Mancini.

He was charged earlier this year with criminal sexual conduct and pleaded guilty in April.

The woman told police she was drinking with Mancini on Jan. 8th.  The woman said Mancini came home with her and when they arrived, she was pushed to the ground and hit her head. The woman says Mancini then began sexually assaulting her. She says she later woke up alone, sitting in a chai and reported the assault to the police.

According to the criminal complaint, Mancini acknowledged that the victim was in no position to stop him “due to her level of intoxication.” He also said, “he felt bad about what he did.”
