A well-known Rochester chef is up for an incredible honor - 2024 Favorite Chef.

If he wins, not only will he be crowned favorite chef, he'll also take home a huge grand prize of $25,000, be on the cover of a magazine, and cook with a celebrity chef.

Favorite Chef, is presented by celebrity chef and Food Network host Carla Hall. It is an online competition that features multiple rounds of online voting by the public.

What magazine would he be on? Taste of Home magazine - "a culinary treasure trove, offering a delightful blend of delicious recipes, cooking tips, and heartwarming stories. From comforting classics to innovative creations, this publication celebrates the joy of home cooking and features the annual Favorite Chef."

It's Youness Bojji, the culinary genius behind the former Rochester fave Casablanca, then Chez Bojji, and now, 507 Public House and Foodie Paradise Food Truck. At last check, he was in 2nd place with just a few days of voting left.

When asked what Youness would do with the $25,000 winnings, he said donate it. He specifically said, it would all go to underprivileged children. Anybody that knows Youness, knows he has one of the biggest hearts around. I've written several articles about him making food for those in need.

Let's help get Youness that well-deserved crown! You can learn more about him, the contest, and vote for Youness by clicking here.
