Minnesota has already been home to a fair number of TV shows, and now another popular series said they're heading back to our fair state as well.

While we're no Hollywood, the North Star State has had its share of famous moments, courtesy of TV and movies, right? I mean, the classic movie filmed here in MinnesotaGrumpy Old Men, celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2023. As did another 90s classic, The Mighty Ducks.

Meanwhile, several classic sitcom characters have been natives of the Bold North as well. In the 80's, the character Rose Nylund on The Golden Girls was from the fictional St. Olaf, Minnesota.

And do you remember Brandon and Brenda Walsh from the 90's classic, Beverly Hills, 90210? The pilot noted how the whole series started when characters Jim and Cindy Walsh moved their family from Minnesota out to California.

When it comes to reality-based shows, Minnesota has been home to several different HGTV-type shows over the years as well. Numerous episodes of the classic series House Hunters have been shot on-location in Minneapolis, St. Paul, St. Cloud and Rochester.

And now the popular History Channel series American Pickers announced that they would be heading back to the Land of 10,000 Lakes as well later this fall. The show, which premiered back in 2010, will be in our neck of the woods in September. According to a post on their Facebook page:

The Pickers are heading to MINNESOTA, WISCONSIN, and their home state of IOWA this SEPTEMBER in search of their next fall pick! They're on the hunt for unique items with interesting stories. If you or someone you know has a historical collection or some intriguing junk, we'd love to hear from you!

The post went on to say that if you're interested in appearing on the show, you should call or text producers at (646)493-2184 or email americanpickers@cineflix.com and include your name, city and state, phone number, and a brief description of your collection. They also noted that they're only interested in private collections, not stores.

Another show shot on-location here in Minnesota was HGTV's 'Should I Stay or Should I Go,' which followed a renovation business based in Edina. And the stars of that series, Brad and Heather Fox, made news when they put their own house on the market a few years ago. Keep scrolling to see the pics!
