Something big is brewing in Rochester, and no, it’s not another Caribou or Starbucks. That's right, Taco Bell is officially entering its fancy era, and Rochester is about to be one of the first places in Minnesota to experience it.

It was originally announced that the new Taco Bell would be the Live Mas Cafe, however, we've since heard from officials that it will actually be something completely different.

Rochester is one of two new locations opening in Minnesota. The other will be in Lakeville.

What We Know About the Rochester Location:

According to the RGI Group, the future Taco Bell will sit on a 1.03-acre lot along Cascade Creek Road NW in the Creekside commercial development across from Costco.

Taco Bell officials tell us that the new digital-forward restaurant design was created with the consumer in mind. It includes walk-up windows and an expanded drive-thru, allowing guests and delivery drivers to see Team Members in action.

The design creates a more open, connected, and efficient space for team members, all while enhancing the overall guest experience.
