Just a day after news broke that a movie theater was closing in Rochester, Minnesota, another business in Southeast Minnesota announced it is also closing for good.

Amazing Pizza Place in Southeast Minnesota Just Announced It Is Closing on Thursday

If you live in Byron, Minnesota, you probably have had a taste of the cheesy pizza slices and bread at Schoenies Pizza. This pizza restaurant opened at 518 2nd Street NW in Byron back in February 2020 by Troy and April Schoenrock.

Some rumors have been circulating lately that this small-town pizza restaurant was closing. Unfortunately, based on the latest Facebook post by the business, it appears that those rumors are indeed true.

We are forced to close the doors of Schoenies Pizza. Thursday, July 11th 2024 will be the last day we will be open for business, depending on inventory as well. Get your last order in while supplies lasts.
So to clear up the rumors, yes they are true, we will be shutting down. Thank you for the support we have had over the past 4 years. Thank you for understanding.
