Opening Date for New Mill Valley Kitchen Announced for Rochester

The month of July started off a little rough with news that a movie theater was closing soon. Sadly, an ice cream shop in Rochester, Minnesota also closed up for good. Today though, I've got a bit of good news to share that should help lift the mood in town. I know the opening date for a brand new restaurant in Rochester!

New Restaurant Opening Soon in Downtown Rochester, Minnesota!

Way back in October, when we were chowing down on Halloween candy, I shared the news that a brand new restaurant was revamping the old Pescara spot on Broadway. Mill Valley Kitchen announced that they were opening a new restaurant in Rochester and were starting construction to revamp the space.

A lot of work has happened inside the old Pescara and today, we know when Mill Valley Kitchen is opening up the doors and inviting people in to grab a bite to eat.

What is Mill Valley Kitchen?

The idea behind the restaurant was to be health-focused and tribute the Mill Valley region of Northern California. A few of the signature items that you'll get to experience are miso glazed seabass, flatbreads, hummus plates with the focus of locally sourced meats, produce and the finest plates of seafood.

You can wait until opening day to taste all that they have to offer or, if you are impatient, you can drive up to St. Louis Park. That Mill Valley Kitchen location opened in 2011.

You aren't going to have to wait long to enjoy the new restaurant! According to an e-mail that I got, the opening day for the public to enjoy Mill Valley Kitchen is Monday, August 5th, 2024.
