Owners of Rochester, Minnesota Restaurant Give an Update After Car Smashes Into The Building
If you missed the latest local news, according to KROC-AM News, around 3:30 pm on Sunday, May 12th, a vehicle traveling in downtown Rochester, Minnesota, hit a road barrier, and traveled up the sidewalk and into the side of Marrow Restaurant. If you aren't familiar with this restaurant, it is one of the newer places to dine in the Med City and sits on the corner of 4th Street Southeast and South Broadway in one of my favorite buildings in town. It is also one of Rochester's oldest buildings.

Heartfelt Message From Marrow Restaurant in Rochester, Minnesota
I drive by Marrow every day and seeing the orange cones and caution tape around the building broke my heart this morning. Below is an update from the owners about the incident and the next steps for the restaurant.
Dear Marrow Family,
In an unforeseen event yesterday, a car crashed into our building. We’re relieved to report that no one was injured in this incident. Thankfully, our first-ever brunch service for Mother’s Day had just concluded, and no guests were in the restaurant at the time—only our dedicated team of five employees who responded swiftly and efficiently to the incident.
As we approach our first anniversary this Thursday, we reflect on the journey in Rochester’s oldest brick building, standing strong for 164 years. Our small family-owned business was built on good bones of resilience & dedication. This incident, while shocking, has not shaken our spirit—it has strengthened our commitment to continuing to serve Rochester with the best experiences.
