Man and Woman From Zumbrota Identified as Victims of Fatal Crash on Kansas Turnpike
Wichita, KS (KROC-AM News)- A man and woman from southeast Minnesota have been identified as the victims of a deadly crash on the Kansas Turnpike.

Three vehicles were involved in the fatality. It happened shortly before 4:15 Monday morning.
The Kansas Highway Patrol responded to the fatal crash along Interstate 35 in the Wichita area.
One of the vehicles involved was a semi that was partially in the roadway when its rear was struck by an SUV occupied by the man and woman from Goodhue County, officials say.

The SUV then veered to the right when it struck a second semi that was also involved in the prior crash, the Kansas Highway Patrol report says.
Authorities identified the driver of the SUV as 78-year-old Thomas Reller of Zumbrota. 27-year-old Octavia Reller of Zumbrota was riding with him.
Both were pronounced dead following the three-vehicle crash. The truck drivers, identified as two women from Texas, were taken to hospitals with what are described as minor injuries.
Thomas and Octavia were both buckled up at the time of the deadly collision, according to the crash report.
