National Weather Service Teams Dispatched to Assess Possible Tornado Damage Across Minnesota, Iowa
Undated (KROC-AM News)- The National Weather Service is dispatching teams across southern Minnesota and northern Iowa to assess damage left behind by possible tornadoes.

A line of severe weather swept across the two states Monday evening.
It produced Tornado and Severe Thunderstorm Warnings in multiple communities across southern Minnesota.
Tornado warnings were issued in portions of Freeborn, Mower and Fillmore Counties. Several communities in the Rochester area were placed under a Severe Thunderstorm Warning.
The storm also caused power outages in portions of northwest Rochester. Rochester Public Utilities reported resolving the outages about an hour after they were reported.
The National Weather Service said it received 10 tornado reports across southern Minnesota Monday night.
NWS Crews Assessing Possible Tornadoes in Freeborn, Blue Earth and Wantowan Counties in Minnesota
On Tuesday morning, officials announced plans to send four storm assessment teams to areas impacted by the severe weather.
Crews will be assessing damage in areas of Freeborn, Blue Earth and Wantowan Counties in Minnesota and in parts of Winneshiek and Allamakee Counties in Iowa.
The National Weather Service has not yet confirmed any tornados from Monday night.
Officials say they hope to have preliminary ratings of any possible tornadoes and more information by Tuesday afternoon.
