Motorist Brought to St. Marys ER Following Crash Near Plainview
Plainview, MN (KROC-AM News) - A motorist was transported to St. Marys Hospital following a single-vehicle crash this morning in Wabasha County.
The State Patrol says a van was traveling south on Highway 42 when the driver lost control and collided with a guard rail. The crash was reported just after 7 AM near Plainview.
The preliminary crash report identified the driver as 43-year-old Daniel Mount of Waterloo Iowa. His injuries were described as non-life-threatening.

The State Patrol says he was not wearing a seatbelt and that alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
The Wabasha County Sheriff's Office, Plainview Fire Department, and Elgin Ambulance also responded to the incident.
