Motorcyclist Fighting for His Life After Crashing on Southeast Minnesota Highway

Kenyon, MN (KROC-AM News)- A motorcyclist is fighting for his life after crashing in southeast Minnesota.

He was the only person involved in the crash. The State Patrol responded to the motorcycle crash shortly before 6:30 Saturday morning.

The motorcycle was traveling east on Hwy. 60 in Goodhue County when it drifted off the road to the right and entered the ditch on the western edge of Kenyon. 

It rolled after entering the ditch and the operator was ejected, the state crash report says.

44-year-old Philip Arthur Tiffany of Faribault was identified as the motorcycle operator. He was taken from the crash scene to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester for treatment of what are being described as life-threatening injuries. 

Tiffany was not wearing a helmet and alcohol was not involved in the crash, the report states. 

The Goodhue County Sheriff’s Office, Rice County Sheriff’s Office, Kenyon Fire Department and First Responders, North Memorial Ambulance and Mayo One also responded to the motorcycle crash.
