A GoFundMe page set up for the young girl from Austin and her family says she is fighting for her life. The post indicates she is in a coma.
The page says Lyla Rafnson is 10 years old and that she’s a “kind and loving girl.” She’s about to enter 5th grade and enjoys playing soccer and playing with her younger siblings.
The fundraising page says a scan of the young girl’s lungs revealed good news.
She’s set to get a CT scan on Wednesday to check on brain swelling and could be woken up if the scan reveals positive results, the fundraiser says.
The purpose of the fundraiser is to help Lyla’s family pay for medical bills and other household expenses while they stay with her.
As of Wednesday morning, the fundraiser has received over $7,800. You can donate by clicking here.
