Injury Collision: Two Vehicles, One Carrying Children, Crash at Rochester Interchange
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- A crash at a southern Rochester interchange sent one driver to the hospital on Thursday.

Two vehicles were involved in the collision. The State Patrol responded to the crash shortly after 2:30 p.m.
A SUV and a car collided at the Hwy. 63 and 40th St. interchange. The car was traveling north when it was struck by the SUV as it was merging onto Hwy. 63, the state crash report says.
70-year-old Lucia Gebreselasi Gebreab of Rochester was identified as the SUV driver.
She went to St. Mary’s Hospital following the crash for treatment of what are being described as non-life-threatening injuries.
25-year-old December Dawn Sherman of Faribault was driving the car. She and four children in her vehicle, who are described as a baby boy, baby girl, 1-year-old girl and six-year-old girl from Faribault, were not hurt.
All six southeast Minnesota residents were buckled up and alcohol was not involved in the crash, the report says.
