
Chatfield Crash Sends 17-Year-Old and 19-Year-Old to Rochester Hospital
A Toyota car heading north out on Hwy. 30 collided with a Chevy Sedan that was heading towards downtown Chatfield, the state crash report says.
Chatfield, MN (KROC-AM News)- A crash near the Olmsted-Fillmore County line sent a pair of teen drivers to the hospital on Tuesday.

The State Patrol responded to the two-vehicle crash around 10:15 p.m. The young drivers were the only occupants in the vehicles, which collided in Chatfield.

17-Year-Old Boy, 19-Year-Old Woman Taken to St. Mary's Hospital After Collision on Hwy. 30 in Chatfield
A Toyota car heading north out on Hwy. 30 collided with a Chevy Sedan that was heading towards downtown Chatfield, the state crash report says.
19-year-old Natalie Mavis Hawkins of Wabasha was driving the Toyota. A 17-year-old boy was behind the wheel of the Chevy, the State Patrol says.

Hawkins was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester with non-life-threatening injuries.
The teen boy was also transported to St. Mary’s. His name, hometown and condition are not listed in the state crash report.
Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts and alcohol was not involved in the crash, according to the State Patrol.

The Fillmore County Sheriff’s Office and Chatfield Police Department also responded to the crash.
