One Dead, One Severely Injured in Rural Minnesota Head-on Crash
Breckenridge, MN (KROC-AM News)- A head-on crash on a rural Minnesota highway claimed one driver’s life and severely injured another motorist.

The State Patrol responded to the deadly crash shortly after 3:00 Monday afternoon. The drivers were the only occupants of the two vehicles involved in the fatality.
An eastbound car and westbound pick-up crashed into each other on Hwy. 210 in western Minnesota’s Wilkin County. The vehicles collided about four miles east of the Minnesota-North Dakota Border.
83-year-old Gisela Tervola of Fergus Falls was driving the car. The preliminary state crash report indicates she died as a result of the crash.
30-year-old Dillon Todd Church of Parkers Prairie was identified as the pick-up driver. He was taken to a hospital in Fargo with what are being described as life-threatening injuries.
It’s not known if Church was bucked up or if alcohol was involved in the deadly head-on crash, the state crash report says.
