Duluth Police Investigating Deadly Motorcycle Crash
Duluth, MN (KROC-AM News) - Police in Duluth are investigating a multi-vehicle crash but claim the life of a motorcyclist.
A news release says the deadly incident was reported around 6:45 Monday morning at a busy intersection on Arrowhead Road about a mile and a half east of the University of Minnesota-Duluth campus. The fatality occurred when a motorcycle and SUV collided at the intersection and caused a secondary collision involving two other vehicles stopped at a traffic light.
Duluth police say the driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
The name of the deceased motorcyclist and the names of the other people involved in the crash have not been released.
The Minnesota State Patrol is assisting in the investigation by conducting a crash reconstruction.
