Driver Rushed to Hospital After Crash at Rochester IBM Complex
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Rochester police are investigating an injury crash that occurred this morning at the IBM complex.
Few details are available, but police spokesperson Amanda Grayson says officers were dispatched to the northwest Rochester property around 11:50 AM after receiving reports of the incident. The initial investigation indicates a vehicle struck another vehicle near the entrance and then crashed into the corner of one of the buildings.
Grayson says the driver of the vehicle that smashed into the building was transported to St. Mary's Hospital with unknown injuries. No one in the building was hurt.
The crash caused significant damage to the vehicle and the building. Based on photos taken at the scene, it appears the SUV went up a set of steps near an entrance and bolted into the corner of the building.
The names of the drivers involved have not been released.
