This Holiday Just Celebrated It’s Grand Reopening In Royalton
For people heading north or south on Highway 10, the Holiday Stationstore in Royalton is back open, and it's now bigger than it once was. On Tuesday morning, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held for the grand reopening of the gas station and convenience store.
The Store Reopened In July
The Holiday gas station and convenience store actually opened back up to thirsty commuters back in July, but today was the grand opening celebration that featured fuel discounts, free food, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony that also saw a $1,000 donation to the Royalton Lions Club.
Royalton's Holiday Has A Larger Footprint, More Pumps, & A Car Wash
The new Holiday in Royalton had been renovating the space for the better part of 10 months as work was being done to add not only more space to the popular stop on Highway 10, but adding other amenities like a car wash and a second fueling island in the rear of the store for semi-trucks.
On top of those changes, a car wash was added to the Holiday, as well as larger bathrooms and a big walk-in cooler to the space.
The front fueling station now has 16 gas pumps that also offer diesel fuel, plus a rear diesel island that offers DEF and diesel for larger trucks.
Celebrating Customers Got Fuel Discounts And Door Prizes
Those who stopped by the grand opening event were able to spin a prize wheel that would award door prizes like shopping bags, stress balls, and pens. In addition to the door prizes, motorists who filled up their gas tanks also saw some relief at the pump as fuel was discounted 40 cents a gallon from 10am to 1pm.
Aren't Holiday's Becoming Circle K Stores?
While it is true that Circle K's parent company bought the Holiday brand name more than 5 years ago, after speaking with various staff at the event today, there was no timetable to change the store over to a Circle K, and since it just reopened as a Holiday, it will more than likely remain as a Holiday for the near future.
