If you're Minnesota's governor, it only makes sense that you'd wear a pair of these uniquely-Minnesota socks.

Tim Walz was just sworn into office as Minnesota's 41st governor back on January 7th. And when you're essentially the CEO of a state (as a governor kinda is), it's probably a good idea to be a top cheerleader for your state, right?

Well, regardless of what you think of his political leanings or policies, it's tough to argue that Gov. Walz isn't Minnesota's biggest cheerleader-- if only from the Minnesota apparel he wears. He was spotted sporting a gold University of Minnesota hat while helping to fill sandbags over the weekend in Hastings.

And, while he was here in Rochester Monday at a meeting regarding healthcare in Minnesota, ABC-6 News reporter Alice Keefe spotted the governor wearing a pair of these way-cool, uniquely Minnesota socks. She snapped a pic and posted it on her Twitter page on Monday.

Of fer cute! You betcha those are some genuine Minnesota socks, don't-cha know! I'd totally wear a pair of those-- I wonder where the governor got them. Either way, though, from his hat to his socks, Gov. Walz is totally repping the Land of 10,000 Lakes!
